UNITY SAND CEREMONY

The Unity Sand Ceremony is a beautiful element to add
to your wedding celebrations. The essence is to symbolize the union
of "two into one". The bride and groom take turns to pour different
coloured sand into the vase creating several layers of the two
colours.
The co-mingling of the coloured
sand represent the joining of the Bride and Groom. You may
also want to arrange for some special readings and words to
accompany the ceremony.
When the ceremony is completed you will have the central
glass vase with the sand pattern which you have created which will
provide a unique reminder of your wedding day. The other two vases
are ideal for flowers.

How the
unity sand ceremony works |

1. The Groom will commence by
pouring a portion of his colour sand into the central glass
vase.
|
2. The Bride will follow by
pouring a portion of the her colour sand also into the central
vase creating a layered effect.
|
3. To complete the ceremony, the
Bride and Groom simultaneously pour the balance of their sand
into the central vase. To make this process a little easier,
you can create a funnel using decorative paper. |

Crystalline Quartz Sand |
The
extra fine crystalline quartz sand is available in a range of
colours. You will need to order 2 different colour packs of sand for
the unity sand ceremony.
Most colours are held in stock - but we do not hold all colours
all the time - so please allow upto 3 weeks for delivery. If you
need your sand quicker than this please contact us
and we will be able to advise you of the colours currently in stock. |
